Recording Equipment/Software

EVS uses Logic Pro X as our main digital recording platform.  It is fed by 8 pre-amp inputs in Studio A and 16 pre-amp inputs in Studio B.  Along with our digital pre-amps, we have several separate tube-driven pre-amps and a 1073 clone.  Outboard gear includes tube, FET, and optical compressors and a pedalboard with OD/distortion, loopers, and a wide selection of Strymon delays and reverbs among others.

Amps and Amp Sims

As with most home studios, we have a limited amount of space, and as such a limited number of physical amplifiers.  We currently utilize a Fender 1968 Reissue Deluxe Custom Reverb, Marshall DSL40, VOX AC10, Fender Rumble bass amp, and a Fender mini for low-fi applications.  We also utilize several software amp sim programs.

Instruments

As a home studio, most of the acoustic instruments on site are for personal use, but we do allow use of our keyboards and e-drum set.  We have a Roland Juno DS, Roland SH-01 Gaia, Yamaha 77-key, Alesis e-drum set, and assorted percussion instruments that can be used for recording purposes.
